Autodesk Licensing Changes - Plan for the Future and How Affects Carlson Software Users

So 2021 carlson with autocad wont be perpetual for ever? we will eventually have to buy the subscription through autodesk? What Im asking is if I buy 2021 carlson with autocad will I be able to use that and only that year software and not have to keep paying but be limited to that year
