Autodesk Sketchbook Watercolour Tutorial | Using FREE Brushes + Create Paper Texture

In this video, I show you guys how to create a watercolour painting in Autodesk Sketchbook. I also show you guys how to create that paper texture to give it that traditional feel. I really hope you guys found this video helpful :)

Tks 😊. Question : Can I create this ,, pressure effect on the brush,, in SKetchbook app for Android phone , using a simple stylus, working on an ordinary phone screen ?? Tks for advising

@@ruducka Yes, you can do that on any device with any stylus. But in my experience, it takes a little bit of practice to do it effortlessy on a phone. But it's completely doable.

This was outstanding! I really wanted to know about doing watercolor in Sketchbook. Thank you so much. One question, though. You used the 'Wet Frayed Brush', which I don't find in the Sketchbook set. I have the free version of Sketchbook. Do you know how to get that brush for the free version? Many thanks again for the tutorial!!!

@@Shikarte I am using the free version -- I have it 3 places: Android phone, Android tablet, Windows Desktop. I did some comparisons of brushes. My Android's have the same brushes and brush sets. My Windows Desktop has some differences from those two but I didn't do an exact compare. I did notice Windows Desktop has Copic set, whatever that is for. Also, I was just focusing on watercolor type brushes, as that's what I'm trying to learn right now. But none of these have the 'Wet Frayed Brush', which I was asking about. Not a big deal, I was just curious if you had downloaded it, or what. It looks like you are using an Apple version, so I guess that accounts for this difference. Thanks for your response. One more thing, not really related to this video, but in general. I was looking around for free brushes to download and I am only seeing ones that are for the Pro version or you have to pay for. Do you know of any sources for free brushes for the free version of Sketchbook>? Thanks, again!

@@annamarialocurtodesign Download a free paper texture from freepik. Add that image on this app, change it’s layer mode to multiply and adjust it’s opacity according to your preference. Make sure to place it above all your layers.
