Normally it's not open for public, only during events in the weekend. I contacted the UTAC, owner of the track, before. In 1993 and 1994 I visited it on the way back fram Le Mans, but both times I didn't came further than the gate.

Inderdaad jammer dat we niet het complete circuit konden rijden. De kombaan van Monza is ook geweldig, maar die van Montlhéry is nog in gebruik als een van de weinigen.

Hello Hermann! I love the high banked Tracks too! And this Circuit is amazing! It is nearly completly original, isnt it? Remind me a little bit on Monza. Which year this one was build?

Yes it looks like old Monza in a way. This track opened in 1924 and it is still original. They only added a few chicanes to the competition track.

Jammer dat je niet op het andere stuk mocht, dat gedeelte interesseerd mij el het meest. Maar ik heb toch weer wat dingen gezien die ik niet eerder wist. :)

Ik had ook graag de hele ronde gereden. Helaas, het lange circuit is in stukken opgedeeld. In theorie kan het nog steeds gebruikt worden maar in de praktijk gebeurt dat helaas niet meer. Het liefst had ik ook zelf even met mijn eigen auto door de kombaan gereden, dan was het wel een stuk sneller gegaan dan met de elektrische auto :) Bij aankomst begonnen ze trouwens meteen over mijn bezoek aan Sitges-Terramar. Ze hadden mijn website goed bekeken. Misschien dat ze naar aanleiding van dat artikel me niet zelf lieten rijden, wetende dat ik dan op hoge snelheid boven door de kombaan zou gaan. Thanks Herman, great job I love that track, nearly a hundred years old and still not shut down amazing :) How do you keep managing to get all these private test drives and tours ? Know the owners personally do you? ;) Or do you have to pay large sums of mula lol

If NASCAR used the oval track, it’s going to be chaotic, but it’s a shame it’s only used for testing
