I live in the Netherlands and ordered the 3008. It is a company car and only allowed to drive electric. I love the design and this color 😍. Very nice review!

I've ordered the gt model. I've test driven one, and they are a really nice car to drive, and you know you're driving a high car. I love the screen and the seat. The only downside for me is the leg room for taller adults on a longer journey, but apart from that, i can't wait to get it.

Waiting for the 3008 GT this month. Thank you for pointing out the Non electric seats and the expensive necessary options.. I was pretty mad there is still so much missing out on the GT version. Electric seats and heatpump should be standard in my opinion Come on Peugeot!!!

I’ve ordered e3008 GT in April with all options ( Due end of August) except tow bar. £55000 but I am still excited. I love my 3008GT Hybrid.

I think some of your complaints are personal, I think most people will like how it drives.. understandably is expensive and some of the things should be standard on the car Like a Heated steering, heat pump and electric sit

I agree, I really like the small steering wheel, then again I’m used to it from my old 2008 fossil. My (Norwegian) GT has heated steering and electric seats.

I’ve had 3308 cars or petrol one diesel. I’ve gone over to the EV the one you’re showing the GT and I must agree with a steering wheel but as a disabled person I’m gonna have to get used to it because it’s in my price range in mobility, but not the other cars too expensive and it’s my first electric car so I’ll see how it goes

We absolutely loved our old C4 Picasso (5 seat) . An E version would be our preference.

A splendid review. I first saw one of these on the road back in May, and wow. What a strikingly handsome car... A few months later, in July, I saw another one, and wow. What an awkward, fussy looking car! (I expected that these cars would be more of a common appearance on British Road by now). Sorry. But I could never buy one of these. I'd go for the Kia EV6, Scenic or Skoda. If Peugeot is serious about becoming premium, they must fully dissociate from sharing other Stellantis Platforms and Parts.

Not sure for the Uk, but here we get it with mildhybrid option 30k euro for alure and 35k euro for the gt and there seems to be some difference in the package. For example, the heated stearing wheel is standard for the gt. I also think front door bins are with fabric.

When this was first announced we did think it would be our choice in 2025. But then the Renault Scenic e-Tech was launched, which feels like a much better option. Since then the Kia EV3 and the first look at the Skoda Elroq shows we will have a few options to consider by next year. And the Skoda Enyaq is also a potential choice.

I have previous gen and it’s great - just underpowered. Do not like this new design (especially external back) but I find myself now pining for a more traditional cabin (almost CX5 style). The wrap around flat screens just are becoming ubiquitous; cheap for manufacturers but I feel the design language of a car suffers…less individual and more appliance-like (if you know what I mean). Definitely looking elsewhere for next car. Cost also a factor.

I drive a Peugeot EV as a company car, which was reasonable to lease in 2022 when I got it. realistically all I’m interested in is the lease price. I look at the max I want to pay and then look at what cars fit it. This E3008 is more than any BMW, Merc or Audi equivalent on my company scheme. It’s massively more than something like an Enyaq or ID4. Sad really, it looks a nice car but I can get an EQB or top-spec Q4 for less.

So this e-3008 priced more than the Ioniq 5 yet no where as much space in it and does not charge anywhere near as quick in charging etc. And as for that central console is crazy as it does not move forward to get outta the way for rear passengers...

I quite like it but prefer 408 and e208. Not sure about the e208 facelift, especially with used ones becoming ever more affordable. I'm being patient with the market. Still some downward momentum, it appears. I do enjoy your more thoughtful videos.

Does this 1.2 L PureTech engine have the same issues with the wet belt mechanism degrading over time needing multiple services, fast wearing of piston heads and thirsty oil consumption I wonder? Anyone know?
@AutoEV25 күн бұрын
Considering this one in the review doesn’t have an engine at all, I’d say you’d be fairly safe……
@mikegipson12244 ай бұрын
Yes these will be relatively low priced on lease or maybe even PCP. Oh and I'm sorry but just because BMW/AUDI/Mercedes charge crazy amounts for all their cars they are not HIGH quality at all.
@markbennett66584 ай бұрын
Definitely a little disappointing on some levels but I mostly like the look of it. We love our e2008 which we bought heavily depreciated to a sensible level but this e3008 does seem a bit spitefully priced and under equipped. Maybe, the more powerful dual motor version will have tweaked steering that is more engaging. You say the ride was too firm but does that mean it actually handles fairly well?

Its obvious that there should be manual seat becasue i personally give a single f becasue i almost never touch it once i move it on my position and to be honest i rather save that extra 2000€ and use my hand if i even have to move it.

I still don't know why they don't make these big screens with a Matt finish. This is a user product not a showroom glossy bling. Especially these non-shrouded types. Please think of the practicality. No reflections are a benefit. And a selling point at this point.

It's taken the premium brands decades to build their image and badge snobbery. Many people won't want to pay BMW / Audi / Merc money for a car with a Peugeot badge. If it sells depends on leasing offers for company car buyers. I anticipate the resale values being quite low so it may be a good second hand buy in a few years.

So several thousands too expensive, poor handling and performance, jumping on the BMW options train, and pretty? Sounds like £250 a month leases in November when no sales.
@jandmathАй бұрын
Well, ‘poor’ handling and performance is a bit harsh. While the kick could be better, I think the driving experience is really good, so probably a subjective thing. I do think the options to build your specific model are a bit pricey - but the car IS a head turner inside and out. I.e. I would never choose a Tesla over this.

A very negative review on your part you started off by saying you’ve given Peugeot a hard time thought this was going to be different however it wasn’t all you kept on doing was comparing it to your BMWX one M package. I’ve never seen such a dour review, it was glum all the way through we have the currents 3008 hybrid and adjust about to change it for the E3 008. I think it’s a cracking little car incredible battery to be honest with you. I started off by. I didn’t see your channel then by the end of your review deleted that because I couldn’t watch another one of your reviews.
@AutoEV3 ай бұрын
I’m sorry you feel that way, however we’ve always been a channel that speaks as it finds. We won’t give a car a glowing review if we feel it isn’t deserved. Now to be fair, the 3008 is a great looking car with a brilliant interior. That much I do say. But I have to say it like it is, and at the money Peugeot charge for this car, there are better options out there. I do concede that maybe the new 5008 will have more of a chance at justifying the price premium (and I’m going to be reviewing that car in a few weeks) but until then, I have to say that the 3008 disappointed me in quite a few ways. Of course you are entitled to disagree, it’s an opinion that you don’t have to share. But to criticise us for not having the same opinion as you does seem a little odd. Thank you for watching what you did however and for taking the time to comment.

All the electric cars are expensive but if you use them properly you have a lot of advantages in money return. Comparing with the Eqa I have now it is much more premium, from the exterior, painting, build quality,, interior, muzic, performance. Believe me , is really premium, and you can see that Stellantis is trying to build beautifull cars and German brands like Merc or Bmw with their ridiculous emblems are really tried to make it look verry ugly, like the ugly sisters.

As a 62 year-old who has never spent more than £12,000 on a car things like this just make me laugh. Who buys these things? I have a bridge to sell you.
@JackMelqart4 ай бұрын
the outside and inside is great, except two things. the rims are ugly, literally ugly not my subjective taste itsan objective observation. they wont/cant align properly, all 4 rims will have a different rotational position, which looks ugly. if the design parts would rotate freely and be balanced that they end up in the same place when the car rims stop to spin, i would no issues with the designs looks, but as is, it is an intants replacement part. they really need to give us some "normal" rim option. the other issue is the back seat room. it is a 4542 mm car with 2739 mm wheelbase, but the room in the back is limited in legroom and even just okay in the head room. my issue is, the new Hyundai Inster is 3825 mm long so 717 mm shorter (28.22 ich or 2.35 feet) has a 2580 mm wheelbase which is just 159 mm shorter (6.25 inch) but has more leg space, then in the 3008, which begs the question, what happened with the 3008? how has less leg space then a way smaller car? makes no sense..
