Actually knowing to hit damage to confirm the kill is also a skill a carry need to do, so if you're not intended to steal the kill, it's also their fault to not calculate the dot dmg/auto attack others are dealing.

To me, a dota player whose only played lol no more than 20 times back in 2010 that has suddenly been recommended lol videos. Those are just kill secures. I thought this was a very toxic video from the title but to me those are just normal kill secures in dota. In dota if you use a 400 damage nuke or an ult on a 50 hp enemy, may even not be considered a kill steal most of the time if it guarantees an important kill, maybe on low ranks.

im going to be real getting the kills isn't like a cardinal sin. Yeah it would be better on a carry but if it feels like they're about to get away then getting the kill is better than letting them go because you wanted to give it to someone else. I feel like it's really only terrible if ur a support that does not need to scale as well. Obviously if ur playing with like a hyper scaler, giving the kills is important, but I feel like with morgana in the state that she is, she needs kills to function since she has to buy mage items on a support income at the moment since no item really fits her kit which really sucks. Also if you've accidentally taken like 6 kills from people at that point I don't think it's just you.
