About 2005 for me. It was a bulky 1 litre plastic bottle which I bought to replace my big 5 litre tin of AutoSmart Mirror Image that I ran out of. I thought SRP was equally as good as AS MI, but I found that SRP needed to be worked quickly and thinly as well as frequently having to change applicator sponges to reduce the dusting. The old formula flashed off very quickly. But it was always easy to remove.

It won't replace a good machine polish - but it does a really good job for those who don't want the expense. Kudos to you for using it on trashed paint and showing what result can realistically be obtained as opposed to all these Chemical Guys videos that all start with great paint in the first place. Nice one!.

SRP is always my go-to product whenever I have to work on white paintwork, or to clean up door jambs. A few years ago I used SRP on 3 of our work vans (they were leased and white), they came out so good the paint looked as if they had been resprayed. The leasing company saw how we had transformed their vans when we sent them in for routine servicing, a couple months later they offered us a cracking deal on refreshing our entire fleet with brand spanking new vans. Brilliant product, this.

I've spent a fortune on various polishes over the years but always come back to SRP. It just works, simple as that. The bottom line is 99% of cars have some form of paint defect in terms of swirl marks. To get these out professionally they will require a machine polish, however no matter how good your wash technique is whether it's a two-bucket wash method, etc. swirls will always come back. SRP is a good filler but also gives a superb shine as shown in this video. It's easy to apply and remove. For best results polish the car in the shade.

Haters are gonna hate on this because it's not a "scene" product or enthusiasts choice but it's a solid performer for improving the look of your paint. my DA has been out of action for a while and I haven't bothered getting it fixed. but this weekend I really wanted to give the car a polish. I'd long given all my hand polishes away to friends and was about to buy a bottle of something to use when right at the back of the cupboard popped out a 10 year old bottle of SRP! needed a jolly good shake but did the job well! can't remember how long is good to leave to cure but it was a hot one this morning and I barely left it on a minute or 2 before wiping away as the swipe test seemed to suggest it was ready to go. pleased with the result. I'll admit to becoming a detailing snob (not proud of it) but I've come full circle now, a lot of these AG products are still around because they just work well. plus I honestly couldn't be bothered doing a full decontamination and clay etc, with a few young kids and moaning wife i just wanted a bit of shine on the motor, lovely jubbly 😁

Great work as always Luke, autoglym srp was first product i used back in 2008-2012 i respect these older brands that got me started and autoglym is local to me in herfordshire. Sadly it's been reformulated past 6-7years or so, its more of a glaze filler now. Old formula had abrasive in it was very good. Since then i tried so many hand polish, the best one from this day i use is Angelwax perfect polish it has micro abrasive brings gloss/clarity to the paint, cleans the paint so well. (Can be used DA or Hand) use Panel wipe down after. Works so well with your lsp Detail Bug nano wax (grab a sample pot) or simplewax armour v2 and Infinity wax diablo, angel wax fifth element, Look forward to more video this spring and summer.

@@TranquilityBaseDetailing A while back, John at Forensics Details/Unplugged tested SRP against the then-new Meguiars 3-in-1 Wax. The Meguiars won the Forensic test in every respect......... except, of course, price. I've never tried the Meguiars 3-in-1, but I went all posh and bought the 5-litre big-tin trade version of SRP called Radiant Wax Polish, at the same price as this half-litre bottle of Meguiars. It really is the best AIO I've used, it leaves a lovely finish. But it's best BY FAR if the paint is fully de-contaminated and pure-polished first. SRP is very easy to use, BUT it requires time and patience if your car paint is scruffy. Ian from the HubNut channel once used SRP followed by ValetPro Beading Marvellous to attempt to put the shine back on his old red Skoda Favorit Estate. Great video,… but this polish will never be used in a detail company because it contains fillers!! Fillers will give you the looks of a clean and proper vehicle but after washing your car 3-4 times all scratches are back. It will give a little abrasive thing to the paintwork but not more then that. However great product for at home 😉.

Its just a glaze with some abrasives an wax. It gives a nice shine tough.

I know it’s not going to be the best finish ever, but take it from me this is really all you need. I did the detailing thing, it’s ridiculous spending 5+ hours cleaning, clay barring, polishing etc for the car to get dirty in next to no time the next day. If you’ve actually got a properly nice car like a rare classic or proper sports car, that’s tucked away in a garage under a cover than proper detailing is the right way forward. However most people have pretty ordinary cars such as Focus RS’s or Megan’s RS’s parked on drives, which are just glorified shopping trolleys, don’t waste your money and time. No one is going to inspect your car to such scrutiny to tell the difference. Do something more constructive. I’ve been there, don’t waste your time.

Hey fam, I hope that you and your loved ones are well. I would like to ask you the most important question ever asked: Who is Jesus? Not who is He to you. Rather, who is He really? Jesus is the Son of God, who came to the world as a man. He lived a perfect and sinless life . Even though He was perfect and sinless, on the cross of Calvary God wrathfully punished Him for the sins of the world. 3 days later He rose from death. Now He is seated at the right hand of God, ruling as King over Heaven and Earth. On the judgment day He will judge you, me and every human being that has ever lived. Those who believed in Him will enter eternal joy with Him, but those who did not believe in Jesus will be sent to eternal condemnation. So turn from your sins and believe in the Jesus. Believe and hope that you can be forgiven for all your sins because of His death and resurrection. He took your place in Hell, so that if you submit to Him as your Lord and God, you can be forgiven and take His place in heaven- you will be made sinless and perfect before the Holy Father. He'll also give you a new heart and mind that can love and obey Him. Jesus lives so that you can have true life and freedom, and most importantly so that you can have an eternally peaceful relationship with God. You are dead, and Jesus is your Hope of love. You can start seeking Him by reading The Bible. Start in Matthew, and try and read it through to The book of Revelation. Spend at least 15 minutes in a private place to read it. Read the Bible over and over again. The Creator of The universe, nature and all creation, has made Himself more clearly known through The Bible, as it is the only perfect, unchanging and authoritative revelation of God. You know there is an Almighty and Glorious God when you look at the universe and nature, but you can only know who He is by reading the Bible. Bible link for YOU: my.bible.com/bible/111/MAT.1.NIV Acts 15:11 ”On the contrary, we believe it is through the grace of the Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are." Ephesians 1:7 ”In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace" Ephesians 2:8 ”For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,” John 11:25-26: "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?' 1 Corinthians 6:14: "And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power." Romans 6:9: "We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him." bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Christ-Is-Lord Source: bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Christ-Overcoming Revelations 19:16 "And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Acts 10:36 "The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all)" John 16:33 Verse Concepts These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

@@carsanovadidrifto800 I wasn't convinced in the whole thing. I don't wish to be disrespectful but it's all nonsense. No sane person should be able to read it and come to the conclusion that it's a serious text. It's scientifically inept, morally horrendous and if you need the few remaining positives taught to you from it then you need your head wobbled. Glad to discuss it further if you'd like my help in finding yourself a better path than the one you're on.
