Hahah, you're so right. I live in Europe right now and the depreciation is so big in markets like Germany or Italy that in a couple of years after launch you can buy it for the price of a new VW Golf.

Leonor Lazami It's when an item loses value over time, due to newer products being launched and people selling them for new ones. Typically more expensive cars suffer from higher depreciation, as people don't keep them that long.

Nah..you are wrong. When the new product comes out, the old one not worth buying anymore. Cars, especially the luxury ones, are only luxurious in its first few years. So when you buy one new, you can have it for the longest period. The later you buy it, the less time you have with it. When the new generation comes out, don't touch it, not worth any penny. The year always comes before the model.

Honestly this being a Merc they more than likely have it set up for continuous (and expensive) maintenance on the electronics (of which there are too much). We owned a c240 4Matic on a lease and the service bills alone were more than my mom's insurance and gas lol. Keep in mind ours was a 2003 Merc so it was still at least very good quality. Now Merc just keeps expanding their lineup and introducing entry to the entry level cars for mass production. Good luck keeping their age old tradition of build quality up, LOL

That instrument cluster looks very aftermarket. Mercedes should have done a better job integrating the screens within the dash. Just my opinion.

Mangelhaft? Not even nearly. Craig's pronunciation is by far the best I ever heard from a non-native speaker not living in Germany for several years at least. I'd assume that Craig is not only gifted at languages but also must be very interested in German language to get to that level of perfection.

This s class will not be the best for long the next gen bmw 7 series is come next year as a 2016 model year and audi next gen a8 will come 2018 as well as a next gen jaguar xj coming between 2018 and 2019 and the s class should also watch out for the next gen porsche panamera coming 2017
