People love to think that they need a trd offroad pro even if the most offroad they will be is a dirt road at a campground. They also complain about towing capability only being 5000lbs but they will never tow a trailer. Most people only need a truck for runs to home depot to get some bags of mulch or a 4x8 sheet of plywood/dry wall, which the ridgeline excels at. It is the only midsize truck that will fit that 4x8 sheet flat between the wheel wells. The ridgeline is the truck 90% of people actually need.

Exactly, I have no need for a big off-road vehicle so the days of overprice and 4X4 for daily driver is done.

Spot on. The funniest is when people complain it's not a truck but the Ridgeline actually has a better payload than a Tacoma.

I have a friend that has one, and he is experiencing a distinctive problem. From what he is telling me, it might be a transmission issue, but the dealership can’t replicate the problem when it was taken in to the shop. His description is like a shudder on acceleration.

I get 26.2 MPG with ECON at 70 MPH 😊 The Redline review says he got 30 MPG.😮

@@wt9653 I like the Ridgeline. All the truck I would need. I drive a 2008 5.7L sequoia with 221xxx miles. Runs like new. Got it in 2012. Just ready for a change. Haha

The Honda Ridgeline is seriously lagging behind the competition. The interior features of the new Lariat Ranger is far superior to the Black Edition Ridgeline. I don't know what Honda is doing, but the Ridgeline's interior desperately needs serious improvements. Are you listening Honda??

all those giant screens are dumb, all i want is a a screen for apple car play or android auto and a backup a camera. i dont want an iPad glued to the dash

Does the Ridgeline have a full digital gauge display in their top trim? Does the Ridgeline have dual glove boxes with a center storage shelf (similar to the one in the Pilot)? Speaking of the Pilot, where is the 10-speed transmission? Sorry, but the Lariat Ranger has a much better (low profile) gear shifter than the Ridgeline's push buttons. It is 2024, so where is the HUD and digital rearview mirror? There are no good excuses why these features are not in Ridgeline's top trim model.
