AutoJoe Digital Inflator: Unboxing & Review

I have three different portable handheld air compressors with flashlight capability. Two can also jump-start a vehicle when the battery is low on voltage, and one also has an output with a cigarette lighter plug attachment that can run other equipment, such as a 12v heated blanket (2hrs) or another 12v operated item. This one (AutoJoe) in the video seems like it's nothing more than a phone charger and quicky air pump with flashlight capability. The small portable air pumps are great for adding a few pounds of car tire air pressure as needed. To preserve the life of the air pump it's probably wise to turn it off for a few minutes if it starts getting too hot.

You’re right. It’s really only good for maybe one flat. I switched to a stronger more capable compressor.

Got mine cheap when clearanced out at Walmart. I love it for inflating my bike tires. Has adapter for presta valves. Nice that can set it to desired air pressure and will auto stop when reaches. Compact size great for keeping in car or in bike bag. Nice carrying bag but not quite large enough to carry accessories and have already misplaced 12 volt adapter. Plan to use for inflatable cooler when paddling. Does get really hot but no smoke problems. Sometimes tricky getting securely attached. Would have been nice if nozzle longer. Had enough power to bring all 4 completely flat tires on antique Model T up to 25. Too bad they seem to be discontinued.

I got this along with a tire plug kit for long trips on the motorcycle. I think it will be a life saver if i pick up a nail or something!

I got the same one today. I agree with you.... does get pretty hott and battery goes pretty fast for couple tires. But for a back up..... pump. Its works for what it is......

You probably inflated your tires 10 psi higher than you're supposed to.

I have noted two different models exclusive to Walmart are not accurate vs each other or other gauges Not off by 10psi but off enough at lower pressures that I expect at high pressure the actual "turn off" will not be close. FWIW - let's say desired pressure is 45PSIG and the shutoff is at the indicated 45, while a separate check shows 40.5.. what is the error? looks lik 10%, but relative to absolute pressure of about 14.7 psia (atmosphere) would be about 7.5% (4.5/~60 PSIA) sadly Walmart Tire and Sam's Tire (let alone independents) do NOT have a gauge calibration procedure/process - all techs have personal gauges. Seems that itself would void any Tire MFR warranty on over/under inflation wear problems

Gas station take 4 minutes from 25 to 45 so I guess this is fair for portable unit on 8 minutes

Good point. I am going to keep it because of how small it is. You can fit it anywhere. And I can charge electronics with it.

You should let it cool down before you go to the next tire or else it will overheat and maybe catch fire..

@@robertlangen25 true. The day I filmed this video was very very hot so maybe when it cools off a bit I can do two tires back to back.

For sure. I ended up not keeping it as it overheats constantly. Smoke starts slowly coming out after a few times of use.

Worst review ever , I buy a air pump do a review about it and not know it vibrates stick it on gravel and think it will stay brand new and not have a scratch and say I'm not going to keep it. Pro tip about air pumps they vibrate.
