Just gave this a watch, this is a really useful thing for the thing that I'm working on for work, and it was never mentioned in any of the classes that I took! Thank you so much for making this tutorial.

Would it work even if the excel sheet is not opened?

Will this code really keep working even when the workbook is closed and then re-opened? I did an Application OnTime macro last week (to run another macro) at a certain time of day, and it worked. But when I changed the time and closed / re-opened the workbook, it didn't run the macro when the new time arrived. I had to insert a separate Workbook Open event, to call the Application OnTime macro whenever the workbook is re-opened. 🤷♂ (I'd hate to have to do a Workbook Open call to every individual timer macro.)

How would one make this run while the workbook is closed?

How to stop it?

Usually the macro will RUN once as shown in the example. If you have not defined a particular end and are stuck in an infinite loop CTRL + BREAK will stop the macro execution.
