Seems like they just need to change the auto withdraw setting to a bar just like the input but for output so u can tell the bot what to take out instead of it just can take anything its set to grab out and that would solve everyones problems with it taking the fertilizer out of the crop plots and would allow for far more efficient automations all across the board

My issue is the bot just takes the fert from the crop plots and never the vault. Thr crop has fert and seed as input but will never put fert into it just steals it from crop plot

You can do a 10 stack of fertilizer in each plot. Crops that are grown will essentially over slot the crop plot.

Yes you can but if the bot stays on top of filling them with 5 there is no need to go all the way to 10. Tbh if you want to risk it you could go with 2-3 fertilizer in each plot.

Any idea how sir-5rm8 can feed plots from a cart? I have a cart greenhouse auto filling tek troughs with mejoberries but sir-5rm8 doesnt want to touch them.

If you have Dino depot mod, you can put a dung beetle in a terminal from the mod along with any Dino (I used phiomias) and the beetle will make fertilizer in the terminal. If you turn the automated withdrawal on he will take the fertilizer out as the beetles make it. 😊

Update: you can auto mate a veggie cake factory on the back of an Oasisaur to have infinite irrigation and fertilizer in your crop plots!! My mind is blown 😮 Omg thank you!! I couldn't understand the stack input stuff. With this knowledge couldn't you have it make cook veggi cakes for you? Ive been trying to get that to work but i think the stack input was the issue! I'll have to test later

@FOGGYlama123 it now an exceptional kibble farm and veggie farm. I just add 6 stacks of fiber, sap, and cooked meat once/twice a week and Bot does all the rest. One fridge is about to be full from the cakes being made lol

​@@Vexxmeloyou can get Sir-5rm8 cooking meat for you too. All you gotta do is load raw meat into a vault, he'll take it out of vault, load it into grill, cook it and take it bsck out and put it into the fridge

Good video it's my first time trying to find a tutorial turns out I've been doing it right all along but my issue is it keeps taking fertilizer out and killing the crops. Im on official.

Great video! Worked perfect on my small plots, but went to medium it filled some to 10 fertilizer. Have you seen it overfill plots?

they need to upgrade the AI on the bots tho, they are very inefficient and limited on what they can do (complexity wise)

You can automate putting berries into a trough as well and then just worry about meat

The gathering function in my opinion is still messed up. It encumbers and if a place to drop off isn’t close it just sits there

The problem is how to make the Dino follow the robot. The best thing to do is to put the water dinos on neutral around the area and they should activate if it gets attacked.

They do not! Even skins that are auto open skins from the DLCs! So disappointing as I try to continue to master this robot in our giant base. Lol

My survivors just sit around not doing anything, all 12 of them, they wont even distribute resources in shared storage to dedis, i have deposit and withdrawal on verything enabled

Something that I noticed is if you open the inventory of what they should be doing (I had mine running metal from a universal box to the forge, then from the forge to the dedicated storage) they would get back to work. Idk if it will help.

If your using a weight reduction mod.. uninstall the weight reduction mod.. atm its an issue with the mate using vanilla resources vs the modified..

Wow. Doesn't work at all for me. I've never once seen them do anything with fertilizer and I have a very similar setup. I do have some bots, that don't even have vegetables, as their input, collecting vegetables and then doing nothing with them. It would have been an awesome feature and I guess it's working for you, but no matter how many different setups I try (and yes, I'm doing it correctly), they just don't work.

If the frig has it as an input they are gonna go get it regardless. I agree it needs some tweaking though. It needs to respect its inputs. If you tell it to get something it should get that and that only. Not go rogue.

Thanks so much for your help with this - mine seems to only ever do half my greenhouse - maybe too much is going on for 1 robot... I have also found that even though I deselect berries he still collects them. Once he gets full its game over. I am still trying to understand the stack size thing and as @carmelogonzalez7910 mentioned, making vegie cakes would be amazing. Cheers and keep up the great videos !!!
