Get $100 off your order using code: FREAKYTECH Also, iGulu addressed some of the concerns I had int he video. Here is what they shared! 1. Excessive foam can be caused by two main reasons. One is the temperature during dispensing, which needs to be low (again if yours doesn't cold crash down to mid ~30 degrees we'll want to replace your unit). We may also need to look at the lid on the fermentation container and send you a different one that reduces over pressurization. 2. Sour taste: High temperatures can cause excessive yeast suspension or contamination. (again let us know if yours won't drop to colder temps) 3. Suspended yeast: A small amount of yeast suspension after fermentation is normal and is characteristic of fresh beer. However, if a large amount of yeast is suspended, it could be due to two reasons: either the temperature is too high, or the beer hasn’t stay enough time in the cold storage phase.

just a few thoughts from a former draft beer technician.... in a few of those shots the temperature shows 60F which is way too high to be pouring and probably caused your over pressure on first pour as when it would have chilled down to 35F the pressure would drop and should mostly fix the foam issue. I'm intrigued by this system and may look into it once more reviews come out

That is great information to have. I have never brewed before, so when an error occurred I was at a loss. Definitely not the fault of the system. Next batch I will make sure the firmware is updated and keep an eye on the temperature. Thank you!

I have had Belgium golden ales that still have the " Mother yeast" in each bottle. So definitely shouldn't be a bad thing!!

It definitely didn’t affect how much I enjoyed the beer! On the next brew it might be totally different. Either way, I’ll be purchasing more for sure lol

It's homemade that's why it's cloudy, but if it tastes anything like German beer, then it's good beer.

A full DIY homebrewing kit with your first run of ingredients will start at about 100 bucks, excluding bottles, so this is holy fuck-expensive at 700 bucks. It is also breadmaster 9000 easy and disambiguates the relatively easy to screw up homebrewing process. I think theyre overshooting the market by 200 bucks. Also, no nitrous?

You’re absolutely correct about a more cost-effective approach to homebrewing. Although it can be quite a bit more temperamental, which I think a lot of folks would rather not mess with. You are absolutely paying for convenience with this product. With that said, it is still a fantastic way to homebrew if you have the funds for it! And while I didn’t have CO2 to keep the batch pressure, it is recommended to do so if you purchase a tank separately

@@freakytechreviews Yeah, we made a few terrible batches. Loved them for having made them..but we fucked it up. Went immediately for German dark.

I’d stay away from most of these brew at home solutions that require an app. I have a BEERMKR at home and the company is almost fully done supporting the machine.

Wow i can spend 700 bux to pay 18 bux to sanitize everything to wait two week for 10 flat beers that go stale in a few days? Stupid.

@@freakytechreviews You gonna brew up, what 10 pints? and then have a party? I mean, maybe the Americans will have one half pint each or something, but by European standards it seems a bit of a stretch. You did modify the party statement from the beginning later on, into a 'gathering' but still, make it bigger! lol
