Looks like a GREAT idea however my plastics snapped in the vice while applying "unscrew with force". They must have used real adhesive on mine. Haha Perhaps I will apply some heat on the next one.

@@lauris4887 did you use metric or imperial bolt? This one was 8mm bolt and it fit tight.

Maybe need to glue or loctite the plastic on the bolt threads? Very good tutorial
@jusubbidiy2 ай бұрын
If you want, you can glue nut to plastic, but not in the threads. To use this manual choke, you need to screw that bolt 😊
@grossteilfahrer2 ай бұрын
@@jusubbidiy oh but I mean the choke part to the bolt, not the nut

To avoid unthreading the bolt out of the plunger holder

So you can't accidentally screw the bolt all the way out
@jusubbidiy2 ай бұрын
@@grossteilfahrer Yes, you can glue it if you want. I didn't because it was tight fit already.

Now I remember. Those things are hard as hell to unscrew . But I'ma have a crack at it . Tomorrow . And see if this fixes the issue . Cause I can unplug it and it will start but have to plug it right back up or won't run right
@jusubbidiyАй бұрын
There is glue in that plastic piece threads, so it's hard to open and can crack when you force it. Did you unplug whole choke or just a cable?
@Donbscooters757Ай бұрын
@jusubbidiy just the plug I didn't take it all way out of the carb

@@Donbscooters757 Ok, if you unplug the cable, then choke is on all time.

Trust me, it works. I can upload some clip soon.

@Jusubbi DIY So you basically have to tune it with the screw its not like a normal choke where it's just on and off? And if you screw in the bolt, is that the choke being on, and if you screw out the bolt, the choke being off? I'd like to do this to my carb, but wanna know how it works before I commit
@jusubbidiy Жыл бұрын
@@ginoanthony Yes. Screw bolt in = choke of, screw bolt out = choke on. I make video for you later today.
