Hello Sir , In my DB Oracle 12C , the Partition feature does not exist only !! Do we need to get this feature explicitly ? While creating a table with Partition I am getting the error :- Error report - SQL Error: ORA-00439: feature not enabled: Partitioning 00439. 00000 - "feature not enabled: %s" *Cause: The specified feature is not enabled. *Action: Do not attempt to use this feature.

Good explanation Siva. I have learned a new topic now. I believe AUTOMATIC and DEFAULT partitioning is only for the partition type LIST but not for RANGE or HASH. Am I correct?
