Great design and craftsmanship , I think you can increase the speed even more from the feed point if you push-not pull ( any stepper can do good repeatability precision ) the tab wire to a track where the clamps come and pick it to put it in place ,another type of robot arm can be faster ,the aim would be to keep welding heat and the conveyer belt moving continuously
