@@JamesGarvin95 when the single observer goes off, it can activate every piston within the 15 block signal limit, however there will be some loss due to some sugarcane stalks reaching their max height before the stalk the observer is watching. TLDR: Slightly more inefficient but saves resources from having to craft an observer for every single sugarcane

Thank you so much bro, it also works on bedrock edition and i stack ed it also in 3 floors by repeating it but connects it with hoppers at 2nd and 3rd floor so they dropped the sugarcane into the bottom chest.

I suggest that before you stack this kind of farm, make sure you also have a iron farm so it is not hard to create a observer, pistons and hopper. Also if you want cheapest, try to put only 2 observers in each side

Awesome farm. The one we built has the sugar cane drop into water, flow into hoppers and into chests. The minecart always disappears on our world even if it's chunk aligned, so we had to come up with another way to do it. Thank You for sharing, this is really Cool!Awesome vid my friend 🤗👍😁❤✌🤗

Mines exacrly like this yet my cart wont pick up the cane and it wont keep going. A trader got caught and it took off with him in it but by itself it does a half lap and stops.

you are using a regular minecart not a hopper minecraft thats why

Use mud instead of dirt cuz hoppers can pick up items from those blocks if the hopper is placed directly underneath it. This principle should work here too

Not really, mud is somewhat hard to get & the sugar cane is sucked up through the ground because of how hopper minecarts work.

If you don't like using a minecart you can use the new mud method where just hoppers will collect it for you.

@@cryptic-forstir13671. One problem may be that your farm is on a chunk border 2. if you are really desperate you can only use powered rails (and instead of using redstone blocks put redstone torches).
