First time: You just need to pour water Second time: you can add more fertilizer if you want - But usually later nutrients flow down from the soil and are retained there.

You didn’t? They demonstrated an easy way to make wicking beds, how they trellis using cord plus how & when they thinned the plants out. They put sphagnum moss at the bottom to help with the wicking before adding potting mix & later top dressing with the egg shell & vermicompost mix. They watered by filling the bottom reservoir via the pipe which has an overflow hole just below the soil level. I thought it was a pretty good demonstration for people of all languages, but maybe you don’t know about wicking beds, so I guess they could’ve used that term in case people wanted to learn more about it.

@@s-c.. I have been growing for over 30 years, Hydroponics for 20 years, I stand by my comment, a Video with no dialogue, maybe they can’t speak English? Plenty of translators about.

@@winstonsmith935 Good for you. I also stand by mine. It was a pretty clear demonstration of a simple system. No words necessary.
