It's funny that you think Big Board's mechanic is harder to understand than Domino Row's because when I was a dumb little shit playing this game for the first time I thought it was obvious you had to spam the roulette because you were locked in the room with it but didn't realize you were supposed to race the dominoes because there was no obvious punishment for letting the dominoes hit the switch first. Out of all the Wario Land games, this is the one I have two copies of. The save battery was dead on one of them, but I managed to beat it nonetheless. That's why I have two copies. Yeah, it's that good. It's undoubtedly "the good one".

The idea of a game being overrated or underrated is actually kind of weird when you consider culture and subcultures, and just what the average person is exposed to. I'm willing to bet that there are still people who think EarthBound is underrated, despite it being a best-seller on the Wii U's eShop, just because it's not as popular or iconic as... I don't know, Pokemon. In that respect, I'm almost tempted to say Wario Land 4 is indeed underrated when it comes to platformers as a whole, but I don't really feel that way anymore given how much a resurgence the game and Wario have been having in recent years. Wario Land is now one of those games alongside F-Zero in which people desperately want a new installment off and will likely never get one. I wonder how much of the sentiment is genuine or if people are just following the crowd on this, like I how people demanding MOTHER 3 are just doing it because of it's meme status (and I know they're doing it because of the meme because they keep asking Reggie for it even though he's not affiliated with Nintendo anymore). Regardless of any of that, though, I just hope more people play this game, and the other Wario Land games, because they're good and deserve to be played at least once.

This has nothing to do with Wario but if you prefer longer sun in the evening, that's actually a problem Daylight Savings fixes, not creates. Summer is when DST is in effect and winter is when we go back to normal time. It sounds like you want permanent DST for more evening daylight year-round (I'd much prefer it, I like sunnier evenings and hate switching back and forth twice a year)

Normal time actually aligns with the natural rising and setting of the Sun, which science has proven our circadian rhythms to naturally align with. It has been scientifically well-documented that DST comes with a host of negative health effects and making DST permanent would only make those problems significantly worse. Permanent Standard Time is what the scientific community unanimously recommends.

Everything may seem brighter during the summer but DST will rob extra daylight in the fall and winter months (because of DST, some places won't see a sunrise until 9:30-10:00 AM). The US as a whole actually tried permanent DST as an experiment in the early '70s. It had to be called off because people actually died as a result of sleepy drivers running over people in artificially dark mornings, not to mention all the scientifically documented upticks in heart attacks, strokes, decreased mental functioning, etc. The science has consistently proven time and time again that Standard Time is the proper time we should all abide by, as DST has serious long-term health consequences. No amount of switching clocks will lengthen sunny days and shorten dark nights. Spring and summer will always be light and fall and winter will always be dark. While I understand the mental health problems you may have, neither time nor season are to blame - your job is. Such is the unjustness of the corporatist system we all slave away under.

I get what you're saying but I do think the huge chunk of the country in school or work for the day getting basically no sunlight is a pretty serious detriment to health as well. With DST occupying 8 months of the year, by the time we lose it this year, we will only have about 6 weeks to the equinox--how much more morning darkness in those 6 weeks would permanent DST really be incurring beyond what we're currently living with? There's been quite a few recent movements towards permanent DST in some states so I guess we'll see what happens.

@@geoffingoff Permanent Standard Time is easier to accomplish. By law, all you have to do is simply opt out of DST (which is what Arizona and Hawaii did). To enact permanent DST, you would have to go through a lengthy legal process that could take years to codify and there's a chance it won't even succeed. Not to mention that the entire scientific community is behind permanent Standard Time, and I'd say it's well worth people's time to trust science that's been established for decades now. DST is also a big boon for corporations (which is why they back it so much and also why DST has expanded since its original inception), so there's a likely chance that they'll encourage double-dipping hours (i.e. springing forward ON TOP OF Daylight Saving Time) in the name of profit, which will wreak serious havoc on people's health and have long-term negative effects on society as a whole. I'm not saying all this because I'm a simp for dark nights (ST will still preserve long summer days). I'm saying this because I'm a firm believer in reputable science and I'm against anything that would continue to entrench corporate power and hegemony at the people's expense.

Some are really easy, which I don't mind like catbat because its a nice refresher, but then you have ones like aerodent who are just very very annoying and it makes me groan whenever i get to the part. It just feels like a chore and I don't think it's fun.
