Automating the door sanding process - Cosmo from Stolbek

This is Cosmo, our new door sanding robot. When we have an employee bottleneck, we like to see if we can find a machine to solve the problem first. Cosmo allows one person to keep up with the doors being produced.

If brushes worked. Everyone would have them. We got rid of 2 brush sanders this year

Oh don’t worry, we’re waiting for the day to get Cosmo. We have a Stanza denibber now and it has helped but doesn’t do it all.

Why use a 1-pc MDF door? A 2-pc with drop in panel is far superior for structural integrity and you don't have to barely touch the center panel.
