We are trying to compare standalone images using CLI . Is it possible to ignore specific regions on some of the images in Percy?

Hi Jaskaran, Yes, you can use Percy-specific CSS to ignore specific areas from being rendered by Percy. For more information, refer - docs.percy.io/docs/percy-specific-css

@@Browserstack All I could find in the above link is to ignore the elements by passing Percy specific CSS. Would it be possible to ignore screen coordinates for a standalone image? By standalone image I mean an image which is uploaded directly from desktop folder and not from Web. (We cannot specify CSS locator in that case as there are no we elements in a standalone image)

Hi Jaskaran, Currently, it is not possible to ignore screen coordinates for a standalone image. We can only ignore certain elements with the help of Percy-specific CSS. However, we will take this as a feature request and share the same with our product team.
