super bro ... many automation testers think they don't need to do manual testing or exploratory testing... mostly they believe manual testing is not needed while doing automation ... but as a tester, our strong base is to prevent bugs and deliver a quality product to end-users. if we do the only the same set of automation cases we can't find new bugs and scenario so we need to do exploratory testing also to discover new areas and scenarios to add and test those. so that we can update our automation cases also ... as you said both skills are much needed for every tester if we do automation or manual. thanks...

Hi Karthick, Firstly I’m glad you started up a channel in Tamil, Thanks for that. This will help a lot of youngsters. I pretty much work in manual testing for over 11 years now and I can see a organizational shift towards SDET model. I’m planning to start with Selenium C# as C# is used for development in our project. Would this be a right choice over Selenium+java/python to start.

You can chiose java/python based upon on your interest.But java+selenium is currently and widely used now and it has better job opportunities.Also python +selenium is also growing because it is very user friendly and it has minimal lines of code.in future python too will have job opprtunities.current job openings for selenium+java=8/10,python+selenium=2/10.That means python is not good it is developing.so its upto your choice
