Hello, will it be possible to add a Instruction to the Click software to include a [Time Proportional instruction] or a sample program to control an output for this intention.
@automationdirect2 ай бұрын
If you are referring to leaving a digitial output for a proportional amount of time based on an analog value, such as you would use for a solid state switching PID output, the CLICK software doesn't have any instructions for that, however the Productivity Software help files from AutomationDirect do, and the same logic should work for a CLICK proportional output. Find them here: www.automationdirect.com/productivity/software/help?srsltid=AfmBOooTmrxEp9ds_N75FEg37TVPB6HsvhpWFgHrujJXTuiJ7h6OSkWf Type "P167" into the upper right corner search window to open the PID Instruction help topic, and then scroll down to the section called "Time-Proportioning Control." Hopefully that will help you.

Which is the limitation for timers and counters?
@automationdirect5 жыл бұрын
Hi Edgar, Those numbers can be found in the spec sheet for the unit you want to use. Look at page 28 of this one for example: cdn.automationdirect.com/static/specs/c010dd1ed.pdf - it has 500 timers and 250 counters.

Please help me regarding ........ how to test PLC program if I have no PLC hardware (Simulation)????
@automationdirect3 жыл бұрын
Prasad, CLICK programming software does not have a PC emulation simulator at this time. It does require Hardware to test your PLC Program. If this a feature that you require, I would advise looking into the Productivity of Do-more PLCs they do support this feature. Here are links to these product lines. Hi whether the PLC model CO-10ARE-D can communicate with advanced HMI via Modbus TCP?
@automationdirect3 жыл бұрын
Angadh, yes the CLICK PLC C0-10ARE-D does support Modbus TCP. This should work.

@@automationdirect Thank you for the reply, could you please advise how can I take a timer TT mode input as in the rslogix
@automationdirect3 жыл бұрын
Angadh, thanks for the comment. Click Timers do not have a Timer timing bit like in Rockwell, so if I need one I just create it using a C bit. For example, Let's say X1 is enabling my timer. I will then create a rung after the timer that will take X1 to C1. Now C1 is my timer timing bit. Thanks

Hi Jessie, The best way to choose a PLC is to use the PLC selector tool here: www.automationdirect.com/systembuilder. We have very capable PLC's that start at just $69 (CLICK PLC) that may be able to handle the project you outlined above! And be sure to check out the huge tutorial video library at: >> www.AutomationDirect.com/videos, or >> www.automationdirect.com/cookbook We also have FREE PLC training here: >> library.automationdirect.com/absolutely-free-plc-training-from-automationdirect/ Good luck with your project!
