After the introduction of this technology in bikes of less than 150 cc, the prices of the bikes increased and the parts related to the fuel system installed in them also became expensive. Due to which people started facing problems in their maintenance.*In India, bikes of less than 150 cc are sold the most and are mostly bought by poor to middle class people and are mostly sold in rural areas.Due to new and electronic technology, most of the people do not know about it like its sensors, its parts and how to maintain it, due to which problems arise in the bikes.And after having problems, people take them to nearby mechanics who do not have any training to fix them, and even in the service centers only ordinary mechanics work.If the problem of matching the bike with the customer is not resolved, a huge confusion arises in the customer's mind regarding the fuel injection technology and the bikes related to it. I totally agree with you and as a Design Engine I confirm that the given info is correct. But the Fi-inj tech is becoming popular coz, it gives a slightly better milaga and it's pretty fascinating name. After all at the end custom checks are mileage and specifications (Fi-inj), whereas carbotor seems old tech.

Carburettor bikes are cost effective,even a local mechanic in your hometown has every idea about carburettor bikes,so if there is any issue with the carburettor,he can repair it with minimal charge and you don't have to worry whether your fuel tank is empty or loaded whereas on contrary fuel injector bikes are complicated and expensive,and only specialist mechanic are able to repair it,who are mostly available in authorised service centre,and most of the time even if you repair the fuel injector there is chance that you might face starting problem so you have to replace the fuel injector with a new one,and the cost of fuel injector is very much and also you have to keep atleast 3 litres of fuel in your tank to prevent any damage to your fuel pump
