It's smooth. I bought a 2008 last weekend with 109k miles and they truly built that car well. Mine doesn't have a scratch on it and has had all the maintenance done. On Michelin ZR rated tires it's smooth as butter at 110mph. Shockingly so. With that said the LS430 is smoother but the suspension on the SC430 is not as soft.

For some reason, I loved these cars when I was a kid. A very interesting vehicle in Lexus’s history considering the first generation SC300 and SC400 sport coupes.

I just started my voyage of looking for the perfect one for myself. Being a long time Lexus owner I know these car are very special for what they are. No not a hotrod... But if you want reliability, comfort, and if want a little more styling just swap out the wheels and spring/coilovers and presto you have one of the best looking hardtop convertibles on the road today. Don't get me started on putting an aftermarket exhaust/ headers on. Hey go buy one today.😊💯😎 Be blessed everyone 🙏

Something no one talks about is how the stereo audio automatically adjusts based on whether the top is up or down, very cool feature for 1998/99.
