ATTENTION EVERYONE WHO IS BITCHING ABOUT THE REPETITION OF 'MY PHONE WAS ON THE COUNTER' The reason it was repeated so much is because that was the event that started the entire chain of breaks in routine, that is where it all started, that is what 'triggered' his breaks in routine and forgetfulness the rest of the day. Not because he's worried about not having his phone.

I have a vivid imagination so your description really hooked me in as if I had been and the guy and you choose something that often happens to me "autopilot". So for the brief 2 minutes at the end I felt that I Really left a kid to die like that so the horror was Unbearable. Kudos on such a good idea for a channel.

He kept saying it to add dramatic effect because that is how Emily died, the phone messed everything up.

The way I look at it, now having listened to it, is the phone is a ‘metaphor’ for Emily. He keeps referring to leaving it as ‘negligent’. Nobody would say that about leaving a phone behind. But they would about leaving a child.

That's more a sad story than a creepy pasta. I may be wrong be aren't creepy pasats suposed to be somehow related to unknown/unreal things ?
@frendiom9 жыл бұрын
Chace Do Creepypasta are supposed to be creepy or creep you out... Its in the name.
@Godslayer19759 жыл бұрын
Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki sure but that was not creepy just some moron using a excuse of forgetting a phone as the reason why he killed his daughter by forgetting her , this is why 80% of parents these days should not have kids because this is a true story just go look and you will find a few news articles of infants forgotten in the car and they died from suffocating from heat. nothing creepy about this just sad that it happens to real children every year by stupid parents
@antonaxelsson5857 жыл бұрын
Chace Do that is true for the most part, as a creepypasta is a kind of horror story wich is most commonly and easily achieved with the occult, the unnatural and the unknown.

@MaxRavenclaw10 жыл бұрын
Yeah... too long an introduction... not that plausible... got predictable after a while... not the best pasta. But best reading as always.
@Xbob4210 жыл бұрын
***** Not plausible? I figured out what happened a bit earlier than intended, so maybe it's a bit predictable, but not plausible? This thing happens tragically often; to the point where this story just depresses me, rather than entertaining me.
@MaxRavenclaw10 жыл бұрын
Xbob42 No figgin way he would be that inattentive unless he had ADD or something. And the whole logic doesn't make sense. How does forgetting your phone lead to forgetting your daughter inside.
@TheSheepMeep10 жыл бұрын
***** Even though I agree that you have to be extremely lost in thought to forget something like this, I have to say: Yes, there is logic. Not practical logic as I said before, but theoretical logic: In this story A doesn't lead to B but rather A follows the same principle as B. Just as he forgot the exception he made during the morning routine he forgot the exception he made during his drive to work, both of which his brain didn't notice because the routine was immediately resumed afterwards and his active thoughts were on different matters. To me this sounds - in theory - pretty logical.
@MaxRavenclaw10 жыл бұрын
TheSheepMeep I don't know, I find it implausible, but I give up. This is not the biggest problem with the pasta. Of course, before someone start picking on me, don't take it as an insult to the reader. He did a great job as always. Let's hope the next one will be more inspired.
