Auto Repair Guys hey i have the titanium version this problem happened out of the blue recently and i will try this fix, also my car ecery now and then says the bonnet is open but it is not , and the alarm goes off at night, any ideas???

@@southwestwings8510 Hi SSW. The reason your alarm goes off randomly is because of the latch of the hood / bonnet. My Fiesta is about four years old and I noticed it's rusted...with my buddy's help we found out it's the rusted latch that cause the problem with the alarm going off. Some times it will go off during the day as well. There is also a sensor that is connected to it. So if the latch isn't closed properly the sensor think the doors isn't closed . Plus I sat in my car and locked all doors the door indicators still shows red. So he asked me to pop the hood. He opened the hood. Raised it about a foot and let it drop / free fall to close. Sure enough the door indicator on the dash wasn't on ( red ) anymore. So that is a indication the problem is the hood latch. He sprayed the latch with wd40 but that is a temporary fix. The best is to use grease which I will be doing next time when I head over to his place...I think that is a temporary fix as well. I think I might need to replace the entire hood latch since it is rusted. When the latch is rusted and you drive over big bumps it set the hood latch loose hence the sensor thinks one of the door was not closed. At first we thought it was one of the four doors or the hatch wasn't closed properly. Then as mentioned earlier he asked me to pop the hood then he closed it and the doors indicator light went off. I don't know how much it cost to have the rusted hood latch to be replace. Having said that I was going to trade my car in for something else anyways. I do hope I have convey the issue to you properly and to the best of my ability. All the best.👍

I have a SE addition 2017 Fiesta and there is nothing showing a fuse for the horn. So the horn is out along with the chirping sound it makes when u double click the lock.

hey guys.. great stuff as always. could u please make a video about taking off the 2 panel pieces between the back window and the license plate area on the MK7 fiesta ST? Its a tough place to wrap on the car for vinyl guys.. off the car is best. plz/ty guys :-)
