In terms of the changing tires, add on to the rule. You must use two different tire compounds. A tire change only counts in a pitstop or under race conditions (Safety Car and VSC still count as a race condition). A car in the pitlane because of red flag conditions doesn't count as a pitstop. So they can change the tire under the red flag but they would still need to change the tire after the race start.

The red flag tire rule is ridiculous. Time for a change to fall in line with every other major series. I'm curious about the "Andretti" entry. Michael Andretti is essentially no longer a part of Andretti Global and there are strong rumours that GM wants into F1 without the Andretti turmoil. What will come of this?

The red flag tyre rule is ridiculous either way who is affected by it. If we changed it and it wasn’t allowed to change it would screw over Max and the Alpine’s in the Brazil gp. They would have started on very old inters while some on new inters and wets. It’s almost impossible to get this right unfortunately.

Just to pop in a correction here chaps. Finland is not a Scandinavian country. They speak a Scandinavian language so they don’t count. Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. That’s it.

Don’t understand what you are writing. Finland is not in Scandinavia because their language is Scandinavian? Most Finns would happily call themselves Scandinavian - it’s a very loose term, but their language however has absolutely nothing to do with Norwegian/Swedish/Danish. Don’t forget the Northern Finns, many of them Kvern as well as Sami, cultures spanning over three countries, again with different languages. Scandinavia is a great term for the North, and I as many others openly consider all Finns part of Scandinavia.

Problem is with comment at 8:53 re this convergence feeling more 'natural' than that in 21' is we've conveniently memory-holed F1's sliding scale aero testing rules and that, for the first time in the history of the sport, it's actually more artificial.. you're supposed to be analysts lads, how are you not considering this?
