I’ve had those similar issues with my turbo LQ4, it ran the best on 100 octane. I think it’s worth it to do a flex fuel tune kit with E85 and use vapor works fuel computer. Best set up in my opinion

I don’t think it’s the engine as much as the turbo oil drain. It doesn’t smoke a lot until after letting off the throttle.

Sweet truck. Love the door panels, really well done, and the rear bed and spoiler. Reminds me of a truck my friend is building, you'd love it. Not as much power, but the chassis and suspension are beyond top notch. All custom built by him. He's still in progress but has the wheels and tires finally and the interior is done, so hes going to sort the chassis and then put on a good set of tires and then its going to toast anything that it comes up against.

I know the truck didn't start out as an autocross-focused build, but if that's what it's gonna do, then it's weird to stick with a turbo LS/4L80E combo. The truck is crying for an NA LS and a T56 or TR6060.

Maybe the PCV needs to be upgraded and enlarged. It's only smoking under just acceleration. I damaged my piston rings due to piston ring flutter. It smoked just like this. Sweet truck🏆💪
