What an amazing ride. My Mom and Dad had a Lemans Sport metallic burnt orange with a black vinyl top. Buckets, with a center console. 350/th350 limited slip. It was A sleeper GTO with hub caps. We swapped the engine for a Trans Am 400. Then I got to restore a triple black convertible for my bosses personal collection and that brought back all the memories just like this video just did. What an amazing car, and awesome video. Man I love it! Keep building these cars people.

I wanted to just say that those who caught the hood alignment issues have a really great eye! The original steel hood was hammered badly and beyond repair. Unfortunately the only aftermarket hoods available for this car at the time of the build are fiberglass. Anybody who has worked with fiberglass panels can tell you that the glass moves around a LOT as it heats and cools. We tried to compromise the alignment so that it looks ok regardless of the under hood temps rather than looking perfect at one temp and like total crap at another.
