I don’t get why everyone makes such a big deal of the sunroof, its a heavy car no matter how much you remove weight and having a sunroof will never have a noticeable difference on the track and very less on the road. Id rather have a sunroof that I can use on a sunny day than a piece of plastic that you have to constantly maintain (like I have had to on previous carbon parts).

Exactly. I have a carbon roof and wish I had the moonroof. If you're ultra-serious about track driving, then going with an M3/M4 was your first mistake.

@@jeebus2121 I have a moonroof but my car is an E90 which was never made with the carbon roof. That being said I would be annoyed if my car was a slicktop. And I disagree with the last statement these cars are very very good as track cars after basic mods, not a lot of cars are as competent for the money. But yeah they are never going to be the fastest things around.

Centrifugal supercharger power for the win! It matches the natural power band very well, it just maximizes and intensifies it, better than turbocharging one of these in my opinion.

Its unfortunate that these cars were classed a less desirable of they were specced with the sunroof. Most people can get around the fact that having no sunroof does improve the balance and performance of the car but I've had 2 e92s, (330i and 335i) and I can say I do miss the sunroof as a daily driver, which at the end of the day these cars were meant to be a jack of all trades, master of none. Bmw M cars have always been compromised, as they have to great driver cars and also be liveable/luxurious. More so related to this video I do love the sound or the older bmw engines with turbo on them, not so much a fan of the newer sounds but these superchargers do suit the responsiveness of the N/A cars but just reward you with more torque in the lower mid parts of the rev range. Definitely on the bucket list

The E92 M3 DCT gearbox is actually dual clutch, so that's probably why its so fast.

Simply a BEAST, woooww. Neither the F or G M3 or M4 can come to this car in terms of the awesome sound from that high revving V8 Just add the supercharger and rev to over 800 within each shift. Can’t wait to get a hold of a E92 M3 and add the Harrop supercharger to it for myself. Hope someday, you can find one with the Harrop supercharger to review. Thanks a lot. 👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽🍷
