Guys im telling you now....get yourself an older Volvo. They are the some of the most underrated cars on the road. And let me tell you this... those SEATS man....When you finish a hard day of solid manual work and your body is aching... and you FINALLY reach the parking lot and get into your Volvo, those seats CRADLE your spine in such a satisfyingly supportive way, you could almost fall asleep in them. That alone sets them apart from most other vehicles.... The seats really do feel like your favourite armchair.

Love this cars. I own one right now, but a V40 2,0t -01. Runs like a dream. I owned 6-7 of these and phase 2 (2001-2004) with vvt is even more faster but the pistons in phase 2 is much weaker. Easy car to maintaine/repair, i do it all myself like the timing belt etc. Best v40 i owned was a 2,0t -99 with stage 4 (240-260hp). It was a monster :D A chip to the t4 is pretty cheap, like 300 euros. You then get like 235hp. Pretty funny. I can talk about this cars for hours and i appreciate the time and love you give them :)

I daily a 2010 Volvo V50 1.6D drive E (MTX75/5 speed manual), believe it or not that thing weighs around 1.3 tons, it’s pretty fuel efficient, averages somewhere between 4.2 to 4.8 liters per 100 kms and by that I mean that I have actually managed to get a average of 4.2 liter per 100 kms, mixed driving to work and home, through Gothenburg traffic in Swedish winter with studded winter tires on. But generally it likes to sit at around 4.5 liter per 100 kms. The little thing runs so efficiently and saved me so much money that I was able to buy my second car, 2001 S60 2.4T (M56/5 speed manual) got it for a great price, bought it all alone by myself on my birthday actually, we didn’t celebrate my birthday on the day that year, since my sister was hospitalized, she was in and out of hospital for a few years. But really quite like my S60. Kept up with a Porsche Macan S surprisingly well with its at the time stock 200hk and 285Nm vs the Macan S 340HK, the Porsche used Launch control, it was in the wet, FWD vs AWD, manual vs Porsche PDK. It currently has a BSR stage 1 tune bumping up the stock power to 250 instead of the stock 200 and the torque was bumped up to 410Nm instead of the stock 285, so it should be able to embarrass most E46 3 series (except the M3 off course).

The reason this engine is 1.9-litre displacement is because Volvo could not fit the 5 cylinder "T5" engine into this car... so they remove a cylinder from T5 engine so it will fit. If you observe at 4:28...notice how the oil filler cap is NOT centered. It lines up with intake port 3 lol. It's off-center because Volvo didnt re-design that part...instead they cover up the 'surgery' with the plastic "16 Valve Turbo" cover lol, but if you look underneath the cover, it literally looks like someone forgot to add cylinder no.5.

Although it is highly cheap for people that live in countries that belong to european unions, this car is not affordable for lots of people that live in Turkey because our currency is not valuable so we undergo some difficulties in order to get somethings like car. Finally even if somethings seem to cheap for somebodies, somethings may be too expensive for someones. :)
