Exactly, I mean, I'm usually the fastest driver where I drive, but for the peace of mind and also for the sole principle I just go right whenever possible. Also, it shows other drivers that if a car going 220 can go to the right lane immediately after finishing overtaking, they really don't need to stay in the left lane going 120 when the right one is empty.

@@mchockney3664 agreed...30years ago on Alpinas was optional enlarged fuel tank...for example on E34 B10 5series it was normal to have 90litre tank instead of serial 5series 70litre tank...and there was option for enlarged 110litre ☝️

Zal altijd mijn favoriete BMW versie blijven. Jaren geleden. eens in de 2 jaar naar Ekris Veenendaal. om daar te mogen meerijden met een chauffeur in de nieuwste M3 en M5 Alpina modellen al was het op de nederlandse "snel"weg...Dat was voor mij de allerbeste dag iedere 2 jaar...stond vaak meerdere keren, al was dat niet de bedoeling, in de rij op zo´n dag. Geweldige ervaring..nogmaals dank Ekris Veenendaal!

I like this car but you can find a used M850i for $65k wit less that 40k miles right now. Intakes, downpipe, and 93 tune, it’ll make 620+AWHP and 640+ AWT. To do all that you’ll probably spend $72k-$75k for the car, mods, and tune. $75k for a 620AWHP 640AWT used M850i wit less than 40k miles or $150k for a stock B8 Alpina is kind of a no brainer. Pretty much paying for the Alpina badges at this point. Might as well lease it tbh.

I’ve always liked the Alpina BMWs. Demonstrably faster than the spec sheet implies and blessedly free of the fanboy wacky plastic tacked on with no regard for styling. Alpina not only does a better BMW, they undo the bad BMW. Someone sure has to.
