I agree it's a great swap and actually car looks quite nice. At the other hand it is a sleeper and a comfortable car at the same time but I doubt its reliable enough andwortht putting thousand of miles on it. It's more like a weekend toy. I would rather have small and agile car as a toy and 2nd not modified and comfortable car for day to day use.

Well Imagine if Skoda actually did it, it swaps right in. They used to have 3.2VR6, why not a 2.5TFSI from the RS3. Truthfully my 8yRS3 even with the racechip does not even come close to this beast. Stock is like 100-200 in 8.7sec or simiar@@KingdomPL

@doktorcz4203 3.6 v6 its slow in this car. Making 700hp from 3.6 v6 I think would be more time consuming, more expensive and more difficult than making 2.5 inline 5 swap and make 700hp from that engine. If I'm wrong then please correct me.

Yes, sadly the new generation is not that beautiful anymore, especially from behind, howerver the front looks great. But the mk 3.5 Superb is the best looking skoda ever (together with enayq, which is electric :( )

I am a regular at MP carworks for maintenance. Martin and his crew are magicians. Got a stage 2 and downpipe on my 1.8 A3 and it drives like a whole new car. Incredible work on this Skoda as expected!

Had a 2017 Superb 2ltr 190ps diesel L&K trim and was Lava Blue, put over 100k miles on in just over a year. Best car i ever had for comfort even economy was great on the longer runs and they are so underatted as a car.

That engine is actually made for that car! The superb uses the MQB EVO platform of the vag group, used by audi for the a3 and for many other models of the vag group. That's the reason it fits perfectly :) Love the car btw, it's a monster

@DenisQuentinSimon Oh yeah, there's in fact the golf R avant, and it's literally an RS3 but with the 4cyl instead of the 5cyl. (Same chassis, same rear torque vectoring diff, same everything apart from thr engine, that's the same as the one in the S3).

There are only parts of the autobahn where you are "free" to go faster than 130 at your own risk. The parts mentioned by pladdaah are limited and he is speeding (significantly) there. They can effectively press charges based on this video, not sure how much but it would most certainly be at least a multi-month driving ban and potentially even a prison sentence.

I"m starting this year to learn how to fabricate large carbon fiber & fiber glass parts like the rear hatch.trunk door and hood...i"m doing it for my Volvo V70 5 cyl turbo to shave as much weight as possible ,same for the rear seats replaced by a fiber glass/composite bench...I expect to shave over a 150kg easy + lighter front seats/wheels & other parts..nothing like a light sleeper..!!
