Thank you for the tasting, William and now a public congratulations on Lucas to you and Yubai! 🎉🤗❤️ I‘m very happy to hear your take on the famous/ infamous Lao Man E and the topic of bitterness in Puerh tea! I definitely look forward to trying your LME to see what you think this tea should be about. Da Fa‘s factory was the first I ever saw, and I still remember how those cakes were drying on his shelf and how nice it tasted! I can definitely attest to the beauty and primeval nature of Da Ping Zhang and especially magical Ai Ban, where we got lost in the spider webs 🕸 that evening. It was also a dream come true to make some autumn Gushu maocha under your supervision late October and it’s amazing to finally know how hot leaves smell and feel during the whole process. I agree with all that the others say: Very interesting and informative and with a dry sense of humor too. You seem to have really enjoyed yourself! I wish I had been there alongside you to taste them too! Maybe one day you make us. A video on your way of brewing the different teas.That could be most interesting to know more about quantities, relationship of leaf to water, temperature, etc. In these tasting videos you show us part of that and mention some aspects but having something specific to each type of tea could be very instructive.

First of all, a hearty congratulations on the birth of Lucas to you and Yubai. It would be nice to see some pictures. And thank you for letting me have a taste of the Lao Man E gushu. The famous bitterness is a wonderful foil for the sweetness that appears. It is a wonderfully complex tea that one has to experience to fully understand the delights it has to offer. The La Fu will surely change after some weeks and months. My old Menghai was somehow bad storaged and smelled really old, but now it had disappeared completely. 👀
