Good stuff in this video! Man things have changed, the Vermonter no longer goes through Palmer and now goes up the newly rehabbed Connecticut River Line...obviously the F40PH and the Baggage car (with the Cool, custom Vermonter mural) are long gone. The Amfleet coaches however are still getting the job done every single day 25 years later! I do miss Conrail, I am from up near Pittsfield, MA and I just miss seeing freights being hauled by the big blue locomotives with the can-opener logo! Seems like there isn't as much traffic these days either, or at least not during the day time. Ive watched the Palmer railcam a few times and it seemed like absolutely nothing went by the whole day!

I thought the footage was no big deal at the time - though I enjoyed shooting and editing it - but now it looks like the Good Old Days, indeed.
