I have a bottlenof Dior Poison that was given to me as a gift in 1988 when I was far too young to wear it. Lol. Loved it then and love it now!

I’m jealous! I don’t seek out original formulas, but part of me would love to have a vintage bottle of poison!

I love that obsession dark bottle! It looks like a genie bottle and an onion dome, I don't know what they're called, like those on top of the palaces in St Petersburg Russia. And being that brown color, makes me think of rich chocolate, and booze. It's quite elegant looking.

Totally agree! It looks exotic and rich to me!

I keep saying that I’d get Adam Levine for Her … 2 years later, I still haven’t purchased it.. 😆 Will finally get that in my next haul…

I almost decluttered it when I first got it, because I hadn't tried it on my skin.... what a mistake that would have been 😂

This fall/winter I'm fooling around with musk oils. I bought 2 different red musk oils, and one was sooo strong and fox-in-heat smelling, I couldn't stand it! The other was so mild I couldn't smell anything. So I added just a few drops of the rank one to that bottle, and it's much better. There's still that vixen in heat rankness, but very dilute... And being so diluted brings out a sort of chocolate smell, not sweet at all, but more a dusky cacao note. It still lasts about 3 days, it's the most clinging scent I've ever come across! Not for the faint of heart, you'd have to not mind that animalic base, as nothing seems to get rid of it, I've tried overspraying with different colognes over it, like Vanilla Fields or Jontue, or Obsession...nothing changes it! I find it interesting, arresting, and definitely different, but I think I prefer other, easier to wear musks. Have you ever tried a pure red musk oil?
@skinscentsforfusspots2 жыл бұрын
Haha no I haven't but I don't like musks with proper animalic vibes so it wouldn't be wise for me to try one! I like a creamy sweet musk myself 🙂

@@skinscentsforfusspots it was an awful experience, I couldn't get away from it. I stupidly put it on full strength, and in an hour I smelled like a fox den. I thought, well, let's see where this goes...it doesn't go anywhere!! It lasted 24 hours, through sleeping, through a shower, the rest of that day, through scrubbing with wet wipes, and even the next day! I've never experienced anything like that. At least now I understand ppl when they say they don't like animalic notes...I'd never found one that offended me before. Just couple of literal drops diluted in a roller ball of oil is still enough to last 2-3 days, and is much more pleasant. At this rate, this tiny bottle of red musk will probably last me the rest of my life! I've got a nice Skin Musk oil by parfums de coeur coming, and it'll be a relief. I'm glad I tried red musk, but wish I'd been more informed. I'm used to thinking of musks as subtle. This was definitely not! Perhaps it's being nearly as thick and as dark as molasses should have given me a clue.🙄

Never smelt those Hugo boss fragrances, must test them out. I adore Dune, Dior has really upped their prices though so dune is over 130 euro a bottle now 😔 I will have to ask the hubby for it for Xmas😊

@@HappyfaceSweet I think it's probably how strong the oakmoss is in it.... although I'm sure it's also to do with how many women wore it when I was a child and I never liked it so maybe just still have those connotations?!
