I have 10 speed bicycles and when the derailer stops working and before I hurt myself, I 've been removing the derailer , taking apart the chain, puting back the chain around the lowest gear around the crank and putting the remainder of the chain around the second highest gear at the rear wheel, need to remove some of the links so the chain won't fall off. Can use a chain breaker and replacement repair links to recircle chai

Me encanta vuestro proyecto. Saludos.

Those little sticks will really mess up your compost pile I'd save it to walk on during the rain. Here in Los Angeles we have to separatefood cutting with garden and have a separate bin. I like to use metal because bugs can't eat it. In Los Angeles we normally Don not need a heater during the winter a space heater or fan. Usually is all that is needed. Spain and California are large places. I've seen houses in Cordoba. That make me. Drill but I think at 69 i'am getting to old.

Look into Hugelkultur growing mound for all that rotted wood around your property. All gardens no matter where you are in the world need Carbon. Nitrogen for compost & gardens is easy to come by and at certain times of the year shredded dried leaves will really help with the Cabon content.
@rickardenstedt
@rickardenstedt 2 жыл бұрын
..me imagino. Buena suerte!

great videos guys, keep up the good work. ,can we ask what is the make of the stove? and where did you buy it? it looks amazing, does the top part act like a small oven?
@LittleSpanishFarmstead
@LittleSpanishFarmstead 3 жыл бұрын
We got it from Fm Calefacción, the model is M-102. We were quite limited in options because a lot of stoves are quite tall and it needed to fit inside the low chimney. An ironmonger actually had to cut off about 20cm of off the bottom area, which was a space for storing wood, so it would fit! And yes the top part is a little oven! So nice to cook in there!

What is the lowest temperature in winter? I see that there are many subtropical plants growing here. So you don't have frosts?
@LittleSpanishFarmstead
@LittleSpanishFarmstead 2 жыл бұрын
In theory frosts are supposed to be very rare in this area, min temperature of 2 degrees C, at least at the low altitudes. We are at 300m. However, this year I've already seen frost on several occasions, in specific patches of our field. Temperature hasn't dropped below 0 though, so I guess it's because of windchill? But yes, depending on the altitude, sub-tropical plants can usually survive around here. I think we need to learn which areas of our land are most exposed and which are more frost-prone, and plant accordingly.

Thanks for your Videos! 🙏🏼😊 I like them 👍🏻👌🏼and left an abo. I have noticed, that you have eating only fruits and vegetables in the Videos. Are you vegetarian or vegan? In your next Video you say that you hope, that one day you will have to feed more animals. When you will have them, do you plan to butcher them and eat them after a while? I ask because I am vegan. I followed a KZbin channel for a while that build a homestead. And then they got sheeps, that gave birth to little lambs. They cuudle with them, name them, show them often in the Videos. It was sooo sweet! And then one day they butcher them and show the dead lambs in a Video and how they remove their skin and so on... It was such a big shock for me!!! I was shocked and sad and felt horrible! I don't want to have this experience again. Sorry for my bad English!
@LittleSpanishFarmstead

Hi, Heike, thanks for you comment, I'm happy you like the videos! Actually yes I have been vegan for many years (Mauro eats some fish & cheese occasionally). I do eat eggs if I know where they come from. I think with the animals, we want chickens for eggs, and I would like a couple of fiber animals (sheep, mohair goat, alpaca etc, depending on which would be most suited to our environment - more research required on my part!) to use the wool (not the meat) So don't worry, we won't be butchering any animals on this channel!
