I have always always lived in the country here in The southern part of West Virginia USA, so I’ve never been to a pumpkin patch. We just grew them ourselves. The pumpkin gourds with all the bumps, I grew near my walkway to my front door. It’s a lot of fun and they are very easy to grow. I always went to the store to get the perfect pumpkin to carve. The wild shape ones we used for decorating. A bale of hay was always easy to come by, as we always kept a cow or two. There was always corn growing in the summer for a fodder shock in the autumn. I had the best time watching the both of you enjoying yourselves. I can’t wait to see your porch. We do love our porches here in the South. The trees here are just starting to change, and it’s been raining. Have a very Blessed week.

Looks like you had so much fun, we think we have located it near Bury St Edmunds, but they are full up at weekends so we will try go next year granddaughters will love it. Gemma, get ‘paper logs’ or they are known as instant fire logs. You light the paper around it. They aren’t as hot as a normal wood filled fire and lasts few hours, perfect for this time of year. They are usually £1 in home bargains or b n m x
