It was one of the most intense autumns, mostly because I had a lot of inexperienced late bred pigeons, with the last ones really learning to fly in November when it was full hawk season with the falcon also starting to attack. Having a very big flock was a problem too. I really need to stop hatching pigeons after August 1st.
This mix contains most of the hawk and falcon attacks I could film this autumn (20 hawk attacks & 26 falcon attacks). I missed a lot of spectacular falcon attacks because of the annoying hawks that were waiting for the pigeons escaping from the falcon and dropping to the loft. Often I had to stop filming to save these pigeons because sometimes the hawks would try to enter the loft after them.
It is the first time I film 2 hawks attacking at the same time, and I thought that was something to remember. But then I filmed 3 hawks chasing a pigeon. And one almost entering the loft. I've never seen so many hawks.
