The old rock paintings in Högsbyn shows that there where people living in this area for a long time. You can make a beautiful walk there from the parking lot. It is a nature reserve.
The Håverud sluice and aquaduct is one of the most popular sight of the Dalsland canal and sluice system. In the summer you can take the tourist train, and take a boat over Dalsland lakes. Contact the tourist information center, which is located here, for more info.
In the video we see the Kroppefjäll, this is the southes fjäll of Sweden. Wolves can be found here, and there are some walking trails.
