How funny i had a kind of same surprise on a holiday in the Elzas, 30 years ago with a lot of oldfashioned cars climbing the hills of the great ballon’s in a long line, what a spectacular sight this video is, you don’t expect this in these sleepy small villages, it must have been awesome when you opened your curtains that morning at your stay😃🙏🙋‍♀️🌻

Very interesting Anita. It must have been very loud there and it's amazing how close to the floor the cars are. I bet Wayside Wade would have loved to have seen this. @@Millionaire-Paul well Paul, you won’t believe this but we arrived in the wee town where our next BnB is- and the road to it is closed for…. Racing. I wasn’t as happy as we’d been on the road 6-1/2 hours and it was HOT! We can’t get to the chalet till the road opens about 9:30pm. 🙄🤪😒 but you are right. Make the most of it. We had dinner out. And spent an extra 5 hours just chilling in 32 degrees 🥵. Life happens. 🤣🇳🇱🙋‍♀️🥝

Cool, brings back memories. My nearest neighbour (Tony) when I was farming built and maintained race cars. A very very clever guy, if i could break it he could fix it. His own car was a “Vauxhall Chevette” with a highly modified Lexus V8 under the hood. I spent many happy hours in his amazing workshop with my camera and on our local racetrack and the new one at Hampton Downs. Honestly I felt safer driving with Tony at 230km/hr in a five point harness, a roll cage on the track than I did with some of my workmates at the speed limit 😀.

I believe Course de Cote is a road race, it would have been great (well from my point of view - probably not my wife's) to get out on one of the stages to see the cars in action. We are fooling our heels in the township till 9:30pm when they will open the road. I recognised what they were straight away! They're CARS! 😁😁Did the yellow one at the start ever get away? Oh, I see he did, but took his time. 3:24. A lorry driver asked me to help him reverse once. Manicure extra. 11:17 Any Roti stalls?? 11:29 looks like a roti ready to go in the pan. 11:45 No, no no. That's not how you do it! 14:19 There was more than ONE DAY of cars???? Now trains I could understand, but cars?? 14:41 Another one with a dodgy satnav! If traffic lights fail you should stop and not pass them. It's in the Highway Code. Does anyone know which way they're supposed to go?? 15:07 SHOCKING!!! 15:52 Of course you didn't. French litter cops carry guns! 16:19 Is it trains? Nope. 21:33 Feeding time for the trailers. This one is eating an orange.

@@TravelwithNJSteveandSue The rolling Hills are indeed covered in vineyards. In fact some smaller roads leading to villages cut right through them. It’s fascinating driving through this countryside. The road to our BnB was closed. Had to wait 6 hours to access our BnB 😏. We just go with the flow. Enjoy your journeys Michael. Expect the unexpected. 🇳🇱🙋‍♀️🥝👌

Oh august I didn't see your comment sorry. Haha, ye sit was a bit hairy scary at times. There were some roads closed and even train traffic halted here that weekend. There wer motorcyclists as front runners and closure- so that the police knew each time a group had passed. Thanks for watching this epic video August. Not normally my thing but a great unplanned event so took advantage of it.
