Autumn in Mt. Takao - Tokyo's Best Side Trip!🗻🍁

Today, I'll take you to my first 'Solo Hike' experience to Mt. Takao during the beautiful autumn leaves time. Mount Takao (Takaosan) is one of the closest natural recreation areas to central Tokyo, a “three-star mountain” according to Frances’s famous Michelin guide.

Well worth the hike up just to see the beautiful Mount Fuji in the distance. We only get to watch videos as a finished product. So kudos to you for including those bloopers at the end to remind us of the time, effort and sometimes mishap required to film the small snippets of footage that are then edited together to produce a complete video. :D

I'm trying to catch up on your old videos! Hiking up Mount Takao is a great day trip from the centre of Tokyo. It was way back in 2011 when I took Trail 1 to go up and down the mountain so it's nice to see some of the other trails in your video. The views were amazing at the top. To celebrate reaching the top I sat down and drank a can of beer from a vending machine. Many old people were smiling and giving me a thumbs up when they saw me drinking the beer which was nice!!! Perhaps I should go back in the future and walk up some of the other trails. We shall see!!

@@LemifromJapan Yes it is. Maybe you can also do a daytrip to Hakone with Odakyu lines. I went there. You can go up with the Hakone Ropeway and also see Mt. Fuiji from there.
