After far too many years of not playing, I wanted to finally start playing accordion again after we moved into the forests of Atlantic Canada from Germany last year. This was until watching you completely sobered me up.... (just kidding). You make it look so incredibly (and frustratingly) easy and effortless. @@AliciaJoStraka Thanks for your kind words. In martial arts, music or any other skill/profession: True masters always make it look so effortless....after ages of practice. It can be indeed frustrating to watch you play ;-) . Yet wet seasons in Nova Scotia is waaay too long NOT to start playing accordion again and at least get back to the level where I once was. My goodness! There it is! I've never seen a vocalist/accordionist (admittedly I haven't looked), this just popped up as a recommended video. It's so tough! I play mostly classical on accordion and have been trying to incorporate singing but my brain isn't cooperating. Maybe more practice will iron out the wrinkles, massive though they are. Great to see someone else doing it though! Well done! You've got a new fan :)

It's tough to sum up the approach to practicing, but I think consistency is key! Try to practice everyday, even if it's not for long. And be sure to practice the musical notes of a difficult passage correctly, to let your muscle memory help out!
