All the mabon/autumn equinox videos I see are full of amazing nature walks and it makes me so sad as a city witch because I live in a literal concrete jungle with not even a decent park to sit and relax amongst nature for a bit. Makes me feel so left out in terms of enjoying that change in the season

Crumbles are big in our house too! They’re just so easy to make and you always have everything you need in the house for it since the base fruit can be whatever you want it to be. We’ll have to give the berry + apple + fall spices combo a try. That sounded so good. Thank you for sharing it!

For me as an Austrian, autumn represents earth, winter represents fire (because of the celebration of the light, and cozy hearth fires), spring represents air (everything feels new and free and full of potential), and summer represents water (think of bathing in the sea or crisp lakes) ✨

I live in FL where the heat is on 86F/30C. I will harvest some herbs and marigolds and make some treats for a Mabon gathering. I love the autumn and so i make many apple things with warming spices.

My ancestors are in Ireland, Germany and Lithuania... I live in Baltimore Maryland USA and discovered that the indigenous tribe Powhattans lived near my house before colonization. I spend a lot of time walking with my daughter around the lake and forest. This is not the land of my ancestors, but I feel a powerful connection to this land. I was moved by your walk in the forest, how close you physically and spiritually were to your ancestors. Makes me want to jump on a plane and get back to my roots. I take comfort in the many magical moments of my home and park and often think of you when I get both me and the kiddo outside to connect to Mother Earth 🌎 Thank you❤

Autumn is my favourite season. I'm an autumn baby born on November 1st. I love to walk through the leaves and I can smell it in the air. There's this sense I can't really explain of knowing when its truly autumn. I enjoy winter but not all the shoveling of snow. I love spring for the rebirth of the green world and although I enjoy summer I don't like all the heat. Your children have grown up so much. Time is really passing so fast.

Love the looks of your crumble 😊. I learned to make it differently. Fruit and sugar in a baking dish with a mostly oatmeal topping that's made with some flour, butter or margarine, brown sugar and cinnamon. I guess mine is more like fruit topped with oatmeal cookie 😉. One of my favourites is a rhubarb crumble, but I've also had apple, peach, pear, apple and strawberry and apple and rhubarb. Autumn can be so yummy 😊

I try to take a rest at this time. My harvesting and canning is mostly done, the school and music year have just started. Things will be hectic soon. I like to make candles at both Mabon and Imbolc. It's a peaceful activity. If I have the urge 😂😂😂I also clean a bit.
