I really like your unique style of playing the piano in which I can listen to the most beautiful cover of this magical music. Thank you Elena Fortin 👍👏🌹🌹🌹💕.

I made major upgrades to my gear set-up in the last 6 weeks. I was trying to upgrade to a Yamaha N2 but the price got away from me. Then I was stalking the Roland GP 607; which they no longer make, replaced by another model designation, for about 20% upgerisen price; heard it on a favorite channel. I took stock of what I really wanted, better and louder sound, especially in those last notes on the upper register. I could not distinguish them as pitches. All sounded the same, like a thud. I added 2 amplified stero monitors, improved the sound by 80%, got the new P-45 "B" keyboard with it's whisper quiet action. Also, just bot a used 14.6" tablet, bigger print, old eyes are not so accurate, sometimes can't distinguish between notes. That is coming from Amazon by tomorrow. Total cost is $1,300; now I have a set-up that rivals instruments in the $3,500-$5,000 range. The big lack in less expensive instruments is not the action or touch but the lack of amplified sound on board. Don't know if it's brilliant but I must say, I'm quite proud of my gambit. A lot of research and patience went into this over the last couple of years. Did not want to lay out the big bucks for the results. Happy camper, here. Side note: A week ago last Friday, I got fitted for high end hearing aids; I qualified with the VA of the US, for service back in the Punic Wars. Really, high end, no cost to me. It was past time. Those last 15 notes at the high end of the piano are actually pitches, the range of which I had lost.

When I am shopping for keyboards I go for touch rather than sound. I personally prefer the Yamahas over the Rolands -- I think Yamaha has the edge on being the most "piano-like". The price definitely plays a factor though. I really liked the Technics one I had before, but I am also liking this Yamaha. I don't have to worry too much about the volume, since it mostly goes into the headset, but on the occasion that I do play it without the headset, the sound is pretty powerful! I'm glad your setup worked out for you. And hooray for the hearing ads! Thank you for your service. I am glad that you've got back the high end of the piano! There'll be an upload in the next couple of days in the high end of the piano so you can test out your new hearing aids. 🙂
