I Remember having a sleep study when I was pretty little and afterwards there was a playroom I played in . I also Remember watching "The Sound Of Music" while they put wires on me. I also have Down Syndrome Just like Autumn. very good Job Autumn!!!!!!!!!

My son has had EEG 's and MR I's EK G's and echo and every time I've been so nervous and relieved When it's over! I'm so amazed that Autumn slept through the night Great job mama!

Yes my daughter had a sleep study done at Long beach Memorial hospital it was called a obstructive sleep apnea at the age of 6 years old but she is alot older now lol

MANN i had to stay with my ma for a week due to bowl being blocked,we didnt know it was till she started puking every min and had to go to the ER, wish I had a bed in that room I had to sleep on a uncomfy couch rofl IT COULD BE SO MUCH WORST! proud of Autumn for being a big girl with this and she has a good taste of cartoons!

I had a sleep study to. Having a sleep study is not that bad, but for her I understand how she feels. But she did so good at the hospital! I know it can sometimes be stressful and scary sleeping at the hospital and having wires on u.

Here’s a fun fact I was a choc patient until 2008 until I move to Kansas City Missouri on my last day I was in California I had to be rushed to the hospital my blood pressure was high. My doctor that I used to see is Dr. Hollander. She is the best doctor if you know her tell her I said hi

@@emilydid9554 I am not this person, but is when you wake up repeatedly in your sleep because your body isn't able to help you breathe correctly causing sleep disturbances of the different cycles of sleep. You can google it for more information, but that is a basic summary.

I had several procedures done in my lifetime. Mostly laparoscopic tummy surgeries, tubes in my ears several times and my eardrum repaired, and a tonsil and adenoidectomy. I have a diagnosis of Intersitial Cystitis and Vulvodynia and chronic pain in my joints (not Rhermatoid Arthritis) in addition to Asperger Syndrome and yes this requires testing that is terrifying,

To test she doesn't have sleep apnea and gets enough oxygen during the night, if you have it it can be really bad for your health and you will often be tired too during the night because you will be waking up from trying to breath, get oxygen.

When I was Non-Verbal, I have a hard time with Wires and Surgery to get my Ear Tubes. Now I am verbal and spreading Autism Awareness (Based on my Disability) Autism Spectrum Awareness is my primary goal!

I had a grand mal when I was 4 and had to have the wires attached to check for seizure activity. I don’t remember that, but remember being in the hospital after it. And I’m like Autumn, hate that kind of crap on me. I feel for her. But she did a great job!

Hi autumn and Audrey I have had a sleep study. I did use a Cpap and about eight years no real deal breaking issues. The masks rubbed my nose on the top and sides. The tops of some masks having something putting pressure on my forehead causing me to have a migraine. I used a nasal pillow mask, a mask that covered only my nose. Then about 3 years in I used a face mask. The mask I fell in love with is called a Z Mask. I loved that nothing put pressure on my head to cause a darn migraine. Now I had to be placed on oxygen because I have congestive heart failure. I had a heart attack two years ago and while I was in the ICU they tried a bipap machine on me and I had no issues with this before my heart attack but now I cannot stand anything like that on my face. I'm claustrophobic. I tried to wear a mask again while I lived in the nursing home. I just couldn't it made me literally have a full-blown panic attack. I told them to face it I couldn't tolerate the masks and I tried. Ooh the social worker and I had our disagreements about that. She in the entire two years I was in long term care could find nobody with the ability or facility to accommodate me being a patient of size or accept my medical insurance. I told her my daddy was dying on hospice and I was going home regardless. I lived a nightmare for two years to long in diversicare of lake Highlands. From day one I woke up with a strange man in my room standing over me as I was sleeping. Now mind you I am legally blind. And on top of this I am mobility impaired. After 18 years of having lymphedema I am bedfast and confined to bed or wheelchair. I am a admin for my support group for lymphedema. It's for patients, families, friends, doctors, nurses, caretakers and others who wanted to learn. It started with 4 and now I have 9,400 members.i am so proud. I enjoy seeing autumns adventures. I am praying for everything to be okay.

I had a Sleep Study done, I also have Autism, I'm unsure if I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea or Central Sleep Apnea, The Place that did The Sleep Study said it was Obstructive Sleep Apnea, but the Psychiatrist I was seeing said it was Central Sleep Apnea, but anyway you slice it I don't need a Machine, but then again The Last Time I got it checked was Summer 2016, I also had My Wisdom Teeth Removed, I wasn't as scared for that one as I was for My Pilonidal Cyst Removal, I was terrified for that one because they had to put in a breathing tube!

I have not done sleep study but I did do EEG test few months ago I had 64 electrons on me for a hour, I did have a special cap on my head to keep the electrons in place and I can say I would not be a good patient for sleep study I move to much in my sleep 🤣
