With turnitin, usually if you go back to the submission page after an hour or so it’ll show you the similarly % and you can view what it’s picked up!

Holly, for my two year MA in Classical Studies at the Open University, I had cut-off dates. My tutor was nice enough for me to have extensions because I had a lot of difficulty with the essay writing since writing essays are my weakest points in academia. Whenever I submitted my TMAs, EMA, and dissertation, I received an email from the Open University saying that I have submitted them successfully.

Hi Holly! I've been following you since your early days at Cambridge. I just wanted to let you know regarding turnitin. Once you received that receipt thing through you email, you can check back on the same place you submitted the first time on the website to see how many percent of your paper is plagiarized. I'm not sure if there'll be points taken off if you don't get below a certain percentage. Hope it helps out! Because in my uni the mininum % for turnitin is 25%. If I get more than 25%, points will be deducted from that assignment. Love you Holly! looking forward to your masters vlogs

I don't know which aap you are using but if you are using google classroom then if you don't "turned in"then your teacher don't get your assignment as done. And ya if you submit you work then it just tuned in by itself.
