Sweet Autumn vibes, loved it! I collect children's books too! Would love for you to share your collection in more depth sometime :) I have found so many at vintage and thrift shops, they are true treasures. And those dragonflies, loved how those turned out, on my to do list :)

Note on the oil lamp: it will probably work if you get a new proper size/type wick and some lamp oil for the reservoir. They can even burn olive or canola oil though I haven’t tried that. They are pretty simple devices. I have two, one modern and one vintage, similar to yours. I love them for ambiance in the evenings and use them all the time. Love your videos! Thanks for sharing some inspiration.

The brass lamp is an oil lamp and prob. just needs a wick and some lamp oil (which you can find at local hardware store). The 2nd item is called a candle snuffer prob. from India. Love the dragonflies from maple seeds - made those w/ my kids when they were little - also used them to make fairy wings. We would use acorn caps for hats and wooden beads for their faces and stuffed felt bodies. So nice to see your beautiful studio - thanks for sharing.

Love your aesthetic and how you surround yourself with beauty. I did want to bring your attention to the possibility of lead in brass items, also alot of vintage (even new!) books, toys, ceramics, etc can have significant lead dust issues. Search online for lead safe mama for more info (no affliation). my son tested slightly high on blood lead as a child (as did the whole family once we tested everyone) and I, being a lover of all things vintage, likely unwittingly exposed the family through our vintage dishes, mixing bowls, etc. Luckily we caught it very early and removed all sorts of things (sadly many things I loved or inherited from grandparents) but just not worth it with growing brains in the house! (or my health too!). Hugs from Seattle.
