AV-30 - How to switch between display views

AV-30 can be switched between an AI, DG, Traffic Display, and Transponder Control screen by pressing and holding the center button for three seconds at a time.
AV-30 for certified aircraft is configured at installation and function-locked to either AI or DG. Upon, certification, the Traffic Display and Transponder control screen will also be accessible on certified units.

I really like the AV-30 but it's my understanding that the precession is horrible. Is this something that has been or will be addressed?

The DG procession is beyond horrible and I have the "newer" units. The AI is nice, however I'm ready to pull them out and send them back considering the DG drift is so bad. It's unsafe, imo.

I have a question sir does the unit need to be program for transponder use? Coz I've seen other Av30 units that there last screen are not showing Reversionary AI page, just a plain attitude indicator.
