I loved this season, I felt like Bea was a little bit out of character the last two episodes tho. The way she pushed Ava away. I get why she did, but still. I didn’t see Bea’s character that way. Bea pushed her away because of her own feelings. I always looked at Bea as one of those characters that always knew the right thing. It was almost like she pushed Ava into that plan with Miguel. I don’t know if it became clear thru the season, but it seemed like the halo got affect by how much the warrior nun believed in herself and those around her. It was just sad seeing how much Ava needed Bea just to get pushed away like that.

Beatrice only pushed Ava away in that one scene. Even after Beatrice tried to push Ava away. Ava was still against Michael's plan. It was only after seeing Raya did she have a change of heart. It wasn't that out of character for Beatrice to behave that way. After failer and lost she tends to try to close herself off to block out the pain and fears. After Vincent took Ava that one episode. Beatrice took it out on Camilla. It was when they went to the museum to look for the crown of thorns. Beatrice doesn't handle failer or lost very well. She says and does things she doesn't mean. She's slightly right about being emotional. Like most people. She gets destracted when it comes to Ava due to her growing love for her and that could cause them to lose everything.

@@ericasharp1872 Ava has always tried doing things her own way, but Bea always reminded her that she had them and wasn’t alone. In that scene Bea took that away. She chose not to be there. They’ve had loss before and Bea didn’t act that way. I’m just saying it was a bit out of the blue. Bea’s very direct and plan oriented, but there she stopped. They acted weird for the last two episodes. Bea knew something was up with Ava and didn’t do or say anything. Bea was like Ava’s compass, but suddenly they barely spoke. I get what they tried to do, I just found it to happen too fast, which made it out of character. She did a 180. Ava clearly felt bad and then tried doing it her own way. Bea didn’t do anything until it was too late. Bea knew before they drove that Ava was going to do something stupid. I know Ava was against the plan, but when Bea became distant… we knew that Ava would end up doing it. Bea was the strong one and she fell apart really fast. Maybe if they showed her falling a part gradually I wouldn’t questioned it. I’m allowed to think it’s out of character. If you didn’t think so, then that’s your opinion and it’s totally fine. I just personally thought Bea acted out of character for a while there.

@@lv1123 I didn't like what Beatrice did in that scene either. Beatrice was probably trying not to get attach to Ava anymore than she already has. Because she keeps hearing over and over that Ava won't survive because she's the warrior nun who is fated to die. Beatrice was already attached to Ava because they spent so much time bonding. But Beatrice is only human. She's trying to block out her feelings the attachment she has to the warrior nun. I don't know exactly why they made Beatrice act that way. But it wasn't for two episodes. It was just that scene. The beginning of next episode she attacked Vincent for his involvement of Ava wearing the crown thorns. Than Beatrice asked Ava if she was alright in a stoft tone. While during the mission. Beatrice acted no different than she has always acted in the past. She goes into soldier mode. Duing Ava's speach before their last mission. Beatrice kept giving her concerned looks and than told mother superior that Ava is hiding something. Through out the mission till the Kiss and Ava dissappear through floor Beatrice was keeping an eye on Ava. Ava is always known to act reckless and do things on her own like how she went to Vincent. Also think about the fact that Ava almost willingly blew up Michael in a room full of people. Who knows what Beatrice is thinking. I wish they gave us a full explanation for why Beatrice had a change of aditude and not just because of her lack of faith in god.

I didn’t at all think Bea stopped caring, but she stopped communicating with Ava until the “kiss scene”. She asked if she was alright, usually Bea would give a speech to inspire Ava and they would make up. Ava acted how I expected her to even tho I hoped that she learned by her previous mistakes, that she can’t keep going on her own. I fully understand that Bea wanted to detach from Ava because of her fear of losing her. I don’t understand how she thought doing it that way would keep Ava more safe? Ava said the previous episode that nothing could stop them as long as they are together. When Bea shut her down… how was Ava suppose to stay hopeful? I guess when Bea felt hopeless… everyone felt hopeless. I just didn’t think Bea would be the one who gave up first. I could see Ava do it.

@@lv1123 Maybe Beatrice thought if she did this. She would stop being a blind spot for Ava or something. She wanted Ava to stop letting her emotions put herself in danger. Time and time again Ava risked herself everything to save Beatrice or anyone else she cares for or loves. That's probably why Beatrice thinks by doing this she's not only protecting herself but Ava as well. Ava feelings for Beatrice keeps blinding her clouding her thinking to the dangers and Beatrice kept lecturing her. But Ava never listens. She just repeats her mistakes. Like what you said. She never learns from her past mistakes.
